Noah Cunningham is a website design study for an author-led publishing presence. The experience needs to introduce the writer, make individual books easy to find and create space for journal content without allowing any one layer to overwhelm the others. The page uses an editorial typographic system, book-led image fields and clearly separated content chapters to establish hierarchy. The resulting design supports both immediate discovery and longer reading: visitors can move toward a title, understand the wider body of work or continue into current writing through consistent navigation and content patterns.

How should an author website organise content?
An author website should distinguish books, biography and current writing while preserving a clear relationship between them.
The design brief centres on editorial hierarchy. Books require recognisable entrances and useful context; journal material needs a repeatable reading structure; the author introduction must connect those areas without becoming the whole page.
The architecture separates these roles into clear chapters and uses stable navigation to make movement between them predictable.
Reading hierarchy
Display typography marks major ideas and releases, while quieter text carries summaries and supporting information. Repeated spacing and alignment allow book covers, quotations and articles to coexist without losing their individual importance.
Calls to action are placed at the end of relevant content units, keeping the route forward connected to the information that supports it.
A system built to continue
The composition is not dependent on a single launch. Its book, journal and subscription patterns can accept new material while preserving the original hierarchy.
The continuous page presentation demonstrates how alternating image and text densities can create pace without sacrificing orientation.
